Job summary

KBR is seeking a Flight Engineer Instructor to support the Foreign Military Sales client’s aviation training at Fort Hood. The role requires deep knowledge of CH-47F systems, aviation doctrine, and mission planning tools to develop and align training with the Commander’s intent.

The instructor will lead training activities, ensure safety and compliance, and support pilot and unit training across diverse mission profiles while using AMPS, CHAMPS, PFPS, ASE and related tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CH-47F FI course or equivalent training.
• 2000 hrs total flight time, 750 FI/SI hours, 500 NG.

Responsibilities

• Review training assessments and objectives to support training development.
• Ensure materials align with current doctrine and policies.
• Support varied aviation training events.
• Assist S3 and Standardization Section with training development and mission execution.
• Provide CH-47F Flight Engineer support for maintenance test flights and flight training.
• Conduct flight training and evaluations in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Support pilot training, unit progression, and evaluations; advise on readiness and gunnery.
• Provide mission support in tactics, readiness progression, gunnery, aircraft delivery, and operations.
• Operate and instruct on AMPS, CHAMPS, PFPS, ASE, and threat analysis tools.
• Provide aerial gunnery planning, training, and range safety operations.
• Deliver instrument training and evaluations.
• Support cargo and attack helicopter operations as needed.
