Job summary

KBR Careers seeks an AH-64E Instructor Pilot to join the Aviation Flight Section at Fort Hood, Texas. You will lead aircraft instruction, support live and simulated training, and help develop tactical scenarios for national readiness objectives alongside a Foreign Military Sales client.

Responsibilities include conducting flight instruction, coordinating exercises, and contributing to training material development, while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of the U.S. Army AH-64 Instructor Pilot Course is required.
• Graduate of the U.S. Army Instrument Flight Examiner Course is required.
• Must hold 2000 MDS hours with at least 500 in AH-64E; 500 hours as AH-64 Instructor Pilot.
• Must hold 500 Night Vision Device hours.
• FAA Medical Certificate Second Class required.
• FAA Commercial Instrument Rotary Wing License required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct flight instruction and evaluations in AH-64E aircraft.
• Support pilot training, RL progression, and gunnery at unit level.
• Develop and align training materials with doctrinal standards.
• Provide simulator instruction, instrument training, and aerial gunnery support.
• Coordinate and support aviation exercises.
• Collaborate with FMS client S3 and Standardization Section on training execution.
• Assist in writing flight maneuver task and joint operations training documents.
• Support cargo and attack helicopter mission execution.
