Job summary

SHINE Technologies, LLC. is seeking a CGD Engineer to support the development and execution of commercial grade dedication plans and qualification plans for items supporting the Chrysalis and other SHINE projects.

The base salary range is $100,000 - $150,000 per year with a comprehensive compensation package. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field, at least 5 years of related experience, and strong vendor relationship abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or other technical field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in related field.
Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft 365 software.
Understanding of ASME NQA-1 requirements.
Understanding of nuclear facility principles and operation.
Ability to develop strong vendor relationships.
Ability to work accurately and independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and provide reviews of CGD plans.
Develop and provide reviews of qualification plans, considering mechanical, electrical, radiological, and seismic effects for items being qualified.
Interface with Engineering organization to identify safety functions, failure modes, and use case of items.
Interface with Procurement and Construction organizations to understand how CGD tasks affect installation dates.
Support development of procurement strategies with Engineering and other Procurement staff, including development of RFPs.
Complete commercial grade surveys of vendors, as required.
Generate Over, Short, Damage, and Discrepant (OSDD) reports as required.
Generate nonconformance reports (NCRs) as required.
