Job summary

SHINE Technologies, LLC is seeking a Procurement Engineer to support technical-based procurement for the Diagnostics division. The role identifies vendors, reviews item equivalencies, develops purchase orders, and leads receipt inspections to support Chrysalis and other SHINE projects.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field, 5 years of related experience, strong leadership, vendor relationship skills, and proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or other technical field.
• 5 years of experience in engineering or relevant field.
• Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft 365 software.
• Strong leadership and time management skills.
• Ability to develop strong vendor relationships.
• Ability to work accurately and independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Engineering organization to identify safety functions and use case of items.
• Interface with Engineering to develop receipt inspection criteria for acceptance of items.
• Interface with Commercial Grade Dedication, and Construction organizations to understand how procurement lead times affect testing and installation dates.
• Provide input to project schedule for procurement activities.
• Support development of procurement strategies with Engineering and other Procurement staff, including development of requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Perform receipt inspections for safety-related and non-safety-related items.
• Generate OS/DD reports as required.
• Generate nonconformance reports as required.
