Job summary

Anchorage Digital seeks a highly skilled Regulatory Licensing Attorney to serve as the primary subject matter expert on CFTC and NFA licensing. You will guide end-to-end registration, advise on OTC and cleared derivatives, and balance regulatory compliance with business strategy.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Trading, Operations, Risk, and Engineering to embed compliance into workflows, support new product classes, and manage licensing audits while navigating the evolving

Qualifications

• J.D. degree focused on financial services, commodities, or corporate law.
• 4+ years practicing law, with at least 3+ years in CFTC/NFA regulatory matters.
• Deep knowledge of CEA and Dodd-Frank Act; experience with OTC products and margin lending.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal expert on CEA and NFA rules.
• Lead end-to-end licensing strategy and lifecycle management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate regulatory agreements including ISDA/CSA docs.
• Lead legal responses to regulatory inquiries and NFA examinations.
