Job summary

Anchorage Digital is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel with a builder’s mindset to join our Trading Solutions team as an integral partner from discovery through launch, providing strategic legal guidance, conducting critical research, establishing policies, and ensuring full regulatory compliance across market infrastructure.

In this role, you will lead drafting and negotiation of counterparty agreements, coordinate with internal teams and external counsel, and advise executive leadership on

Qualifications

• 8+ years of transactional experience reviewing financial transaction agreements such as lending agreements, prime brokerage agreements, ISDA/CSA and trade confirmations.
• Ability to create, draft, negotiate a wide range of digital asset trading and related agreements.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to digital assets for institutional clients.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or early-stage company is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead structuring, drafting, and negotiation of key counterparty agreements including electronic trading, derivatives, and financing arrangements.
• Provide strategic legal guidance to executive leadership on complex regulatory matters and reputational risks.
• Develop policies, templates, and staff training with Compliance to scale the trading solutions business.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel to manage transactional work.
