Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an experienced Finance & Insurance Manager to lead financing discussions in a no-haggle environment. You’ll assess options, present pricing, and ensure compliance while guiding customers from sales to financing during vehicle purchases.

Ideal candidates will bring strategic thinking, a track record of achieving targets, and a passion for developing teams in a Fortune 200 company committed to integrity, inclusion, and community impact.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in automotive sales or finance.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals with accountability.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with technology and financing processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the store and transition them from Sales to Finance during their vehicle purchase process.
• Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships.
• Determine customer financing needs and payment options via consultative interview.
• Present a transparent pricing menu detailing financing options and products.
• Process finance transactions and ensure 100% compliance with state and federal laws.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build referrals.
• Set and achieve targeted sales goals and gain product knowledge.
• Ensure administrative processes are timely and in policy compliance.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

Working in our no-haggle sales environment, the F&I Manager makes credit decisions, submits deals to our lenders for approval and helps bridge disconnects in the sales process. What will I do every day?

What are the requirements for the F&I Manager?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Experience and desire to work with technology
