Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a CAAS Chief Financial Officer based in Minneapolis, MN. This role requires extensive accounting/financial experience, especially in manufacturing, to lead client engagements within CLAAS’ CAAS practice and drive financial policy, budgeting, and strategic planning for client accounts.

The position emphasizes collaboration with clients, managing cash flow, and coordinating audits while building strong relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8 years of accounting/financial experience required.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Travel to/from client sites with local travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform CFO functions as part of the client’s accounting services team.
• Be accountable for identifying and implementing best practices to add client value.
• Set financial policy with the client and drive overall strategy.
• Lead capital planning, risk management, KPI analysis, and board interactions.
• Oversee budgeting and longer-term financial planning and cost management.
• Coordinate audit activities and ensure financial record accuracy.
