Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior to join our CAAS group supporting our Manufacturing Industry based out of Minneapolis, MN. The role focuses on client service, day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring high-quality financial processes for multiple clients.

The position requires 2 years of accounting experience and a bachelor's degree. Compensation is competitive and reflects geography, experience, and education within our Minnesota wage range.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops an understanding of each client's business/organization operations and manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
• Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals) and completes complex reconciliations; reviews financial statements and general ledger and builds documentation.
• Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepares audit workpapers and tax return workpapers as requested by clients.
• Oversees workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts; supervises and ensures efficiency and quality of work.
