Job summary
Science Corporation is seeking an Executive Vice President, Finance to build and lead the finance function through its transition into a commercial-stage medical technology company. This executive will partner with the CEO, Board, and senior leaders to define and execute the financial strategy.
They bring 10+ years in senior finance roles at venture-backed tech/medtech firms, with multi-entity, multi-currency finance experience and a proven ability to scale teams, processes, and controls for
Qualifications
- 10+ years in progressively senior finance roles leading a finance function at a venture-backed company
- Experience taking a company from pre-commercial to commercial, with revenue recognition in healthcare/medtech
- Strong strategic and operational acumen across R&D, commercial, and operations
Responsibilities
- Own the financial strategy and the long-range financial model across R&D, commercial, and Foundry revenue lines
- Partner with CEO, Board, investors, legal and operations teams to guide financial decisions
- Lead FP&A, controllership, and treasury, building scalable finance structures and processes
- Oversee multi‑currency consolidation, revenue recognition, and related regulatory considerations
- Manage banking, audit, and external tax advisor relationships
