Job summary

Contractor Staffing Source in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to own all financial aspects of a growing roofing contractor. The role focuses on cash flow, reporting accuracy across divisions, and leading an ERP migration to a cloud platform.

You will collaborate with ownership, operations, and sales leadership; manage controls and budgeting; and drive strategic financial decisions at the executive level in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of CFO/ Controller or senior finance leadership experience.
• Construction/roofing finance experience strongly preferred.
• ERP migration experience to a cloud platform is a plus.
• Strong WIP, job costing, budgeting, cash flow, and controls.
• Experience with insurance, banking relationships, or bonding preferred.
• Work closely with ownership and senior leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, timely financial data and insight to ownership for decision-making.
• Manage accounting processes, internal controls, and financial procedures with staff.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Own job costing and construction-related financial reporting by division.
• Lead ERP evaluation and cloud migration from selection to implementation.
• Manage insurance renewals, banking relationships, and bonding capacity.
• Report to the CEO and participate in weekly leadership meetings.
• Collaborate with operations and sales leadership to support company goals.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and financial accuracy.
