ONAR is an AI-powered marketing platform. We own and operate a group of specialist marketing agencies serving mid-market and growth brands with performance marketing, creative, and commerce.

Our labs unit develops proprietary tech, including Retina AI and Cortex, to boost productivity and recurring revenue. We are seeking a CFO who will be a hands-on partner to the CEO, building the finance organization, systems, and controls for a growing public company.

Qualifications

• Senior finance leader at a public company with hands-on SEC reporting experience.
• CPA strongly preferred; comfortable with business combinations and stock-based compensation.
• Deal experience across the acquisition lifecycle—diligence, structuring, integration.
• Capital markets fluency; experience with debt/equity, complex cap tables.
• Uplisting/IPO experience is a strong advantage.
• Modern tooling and AI usage in daily finance work.
• Owner's mindset; high accountability under filing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SEC reporting and related close processes, including 10-K/10-Q/8-Ks and proxy materials.
• Lead NASDAQ uplisting readiness, governance, and capital actions with counsel and bankers.
• Drive M&A financial diligence, valuation, and integration planning.
• Manage treasury, debt and equity financing, and cap table maintenance.
• Oversee operating finance, budgets, P&L reporting, and KPI discipline.
• Build scalable finance infrastructure with SOX controls and systems.
• Prepare clear financial narratives for the Board and investors.
