Job summary

COVU, a pioneering AI-native operating stack for insurance distribution, seeks a CFO to own the full financial system and drive scalable growth. You will shape debt vs. equity deployment, lead equity fundraising, and build the operating visibility needed to scale with discipline.

You will own liquidity planning, governance, and performance dashboards, partnering with product and operations to align automation, service quality, and margin expansion with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading FP&A, accounting, and capital strategy at scale.
• Proven track record in debt/equity financing and lender communications.
• Experience supporting equity fundraising and investor narratives.

Responsibilities

• Own the capital strategy and planning across debt and equity.
• Build FP&A function with budget, forecast, and cadence for execs and board.
• Lead M&A finance: valuation, deal structure, earnouts, integration metrics.
• Oversee multi-entity finance, controls, and monthly close discipline.
• Lead audit processes and financial governance with board interfaces.
• Quantify insurance distribution economics and automation impact on margins.
• Partner with CEO and leadership to drive cost-to-serve improvements and CX.
