Job summary

Northeastern Technical College (NETC) is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Finance to serve as Chief Financial Officer, guiding all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, procurement, student financial awards, and audit compliance. The role reports to college leadership and supports strategic initiatives for long-term success.

Responsibilities include executive oversight of Fiscal Affairs, cash and risk management, and comprehensive financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required with five years of progressively responsible related work experience.
• Knowledge of higher education administration, grants, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to plan, direct, and communicate financial strategies and policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for Fiscal Affairs, including procurement, accounting, AP/AR, student accounts, grants, and financial aid.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and risk management with annual cycles and reporting.
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance across federal, state, and institutional requirements.
