Job summary

Governor’s Technology Office seeks an Administrative Services Officer IV to serve as Chief Financial Officer, directing budget, accounting, fiscal management, and internal controls. Leads biennial budget development, rates for services, and financial planning while advising the State CIO and executives.

The CFO oversees contracts, procurements, audits, and policy development to ensure compliance with state requirements, supervising analysts and technicians and improving administrative operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a related field.
• Seven years of professional experience in formulating, developing and analyzing agency budgets; fiscal management; and management of multiple business operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and administration of the biennial budget, budget requests and fiscal projections.
• Oversee accounting, accounts receivable, financial reporting and audit responses; monitor contracts and procurements.
• Advise executive leadership on fiscal strategy and resource decisions; ensure compliance with state regulations.
