Job summary

BNY is offering a 10-week Summer Internship in the Office of the CFO – Finance & Strategy. The program targets high-potential undergraduates, providing exposure to financial planning, analysis, reporting, capital management, and strategic initiatives within a global financial institution.

Participants will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional networking while contributing to important business projects and learning how finance guides a global enterprise.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.
• Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.

Responsibilities

• Support teams that help maintain BNY’s financial integrity, support sustainable growth, and drive operational excellence across the firm.
• Assist with work related to financial planning and analysis, reporting, market and competitor analysis, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning.
• Conduct data analysis and help interpret financial information to provide insights into business performance, risks, and opportunities for efficiency.
• Collaborate across lines of business and corporate functions on projects that support decision-making, process improvement, and the use of emerging financial technologies.
