Job summary

PhotonPay Group seeks a senior finance executive to lead financial governance, planning and regulatory compliance in the United States. The role focuses on liquidity, controls, and cross‑functional collaboration with product, engineering and treasury.

You will work on tax strategy across US and international frameworks, oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and audits, and partner with global teams to ensure sound financial operations for a regulated fintech payments business.

Qualifications

• Experience in fintech/payments, banking or money transmission within regulated financial services.
• Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, treasury, cash management and internal controls.
• Experience in regulated environments with governance, policy development and control frameworks.
• Understanding liquidity management, reconciliations, settlements and customer fund flows.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional partnership.
• Deep knowledge of corporate tax strategy and compliance including US and international tax.

Required Qualifications:

• Significant experience in fintech, payments, banking, money transmission, or other regulated financial services.
• Demonstrated knowledge of core finance functions, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, treasury, cash management, audit coordination, and internal controls
• Experience operating in a regulated environment with responsibility for financial governance, policy development, and control frameworks
• Strong understanding of liquidity management, reconciliations, settlement operations, and customer fund flows
• Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills
• Deep understanding of corporate tax strategy and compliance, including U.S. federal and state tax matters, international tax considerations, intercompany arrangements, and cross-border operational impacts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience with MTLs and related financial requirements
• Strong understanding of regulatory examinations, financial audits, and banking partner due diligence in the fintech or payments space
• Experience with global payments, cross-border finance operations, and international banking relationships
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction finance operations, including intercompany structures and global financial oversight
