Cherry Bekaert LLP seeks an Accounting Advisory Manager to join our national CFO Advisory practice. This role offers hybrid or remote work with travel to support client engagements and team collaboration.

You will partner with Corporate Accounting and Finance teams to address complex accounting challenges, enhance financial reporting, and lead engagements across technical accounting, SEC reporting, and financial transformation initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license preferred for advancement.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with month-end close and financial/SEC reporting processes.
• Experience supporting SEC registrants or private equity-backed organizations.

Aufgaben

• Lead multiple client engagements as a trusted advisor.
• Support and optimize financial close processes for clients.
• Assist with accounting transformation initiatives and opening balance sheet preparation.
• Guide audit readiness and interact with external auditors.
• Lead technical accounting projects including ASC 480, 606, 718, 805, 815, 842.
• Advise on IPO, SPAC and SEC reporting matters, including disclosures.
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnote disclosures, memos, reconciliations, and SEC filings.
• Mentor team members and drive a collaborative culture.
• Identify opportunities to expand engagement scope with senior leadership.
