Stout seeks an experienced Accounting Operations leader to drive engagements for middle-market to large clients, focusing on close, reporting, and process improvement. You will guide technical accounting matters under US GAAP and collaborate with client leadership to enhance efficiency.

You will mentor juniors, manage project plans and budgets, and support audit readiness while advancing automation across ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle, and QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 6+ years for Manager-level; 8+ years for Senior Manager-level in accounting operations or advisory.
• CPA preferred; experience with private equity-backed environments a plus.
• Experience managing close, reporting, and internal controls in corporate settings.

Responsabilités

• Manage accounting operations engagements, including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Assess processes, implement improvements, and strengthen internal controls.
• Support post-acquisition integration and transaction-related accounting matters.
• Coordinate with CFOs, controllers, and client teams to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead accounting process standardization, automation, and ERP optimization initiatives.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on US GAAP and related standards.
