Job summary

Luther College's Center for Faith and Life seeks a full-time CFL Technician to provide technical support, plan with the Head CFL Technician, and deliver quality service for events. The role covers sound, lighting, and AV needs across the CFL spaces.

Responsibilities include coordinating space and planning for upcoming events, setting up truss, lighting, and sound systems, and supporting both academic and campus activities. A strong customer-service mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience with audio systems and/or theatrical lighting.
• Familiarity with Yamaha DM7 soundboard and Dante networking preferred.
• Commitment to customer service and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for CFL users, event planners, and guests.
• Coordinate space needs and planning with Head CFL Technician.
• Set up sound, lighting, and multimedia equipment as needed.
• Oversee sound reinforcement and theatrical lighting setup and operation.
• Record lectures and performances as requested.
• Guide student technicians and volunteers.
• Assist with building management and event planning.
