Job summary

Whaley Foodservice is seeking a skilled field service technician to maintain and repair customer equipment, trained in at least two skill sets, and on‑call for after‑hours support. A leadership mindset to mentor others is valued as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 3 years of applicable experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that aligns with safety standards.
• CFESA Master Technician with three of the four CFESA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including PPE.
• Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
• Document tasks using tablet (parts order, work order, timesheet).
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and status.
• Use proper hand and power tools for repairs.
• Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on vehicle.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms.
• Work independently with daily supervision.
• Participate in weekend/holiday on‑call rotations and overtime as needed.
