Job summary

Whaley Foodservice in Columbia, SC is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment. You will be trained in at least two skill sets, work on-call on a rotation, and mentor others.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• CFESA Master Technician with three of four CFESA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered equipment.
• Maintain safety and follow company policies.
• Document tasks via tablet and update work orders promptly.
• Mentor and train other technicians when needed.
• On-call rotation and overtime as required.
