Jacobs Facility Modeling & Analytics (FMA) Group is seeking a CFD Engineer to apply computational fluid dynamics to thermal/airflow design of built environments. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to define objectives and deliver high-fidelity analyses that support resilient facilities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with HVAC/CFD experience, proficiency in Cadence Reality DC Pro, Star CCM+, FloVENT or FloTHERM, and strong data visualization and technical-writing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience and design.
• Proficiency with CFD software packages.
• Strong Excel and data visualization skills.
• Solid grasp of engineering first principles.

Responsibilities

• Define modeling objectives with clients and scope within time/budget.
• Analyze complex data sets and extract actionable insights.
• Create visual evidence of findings using visualization tools.
• Present and document findings clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support rapid analysis of design alternatives across projects.
