CF6 Engine QC Inspector

Job summary

CTS Engines in the United States seeks a quality inspector for CF6 engine workscopes, incoming inspection, and QA documentation. You will identify visual non-conformances, create reports, and route parts for repair to keep engines ready for service.

Responsibilities include inspecting EMS and parts, recording statuses in the QC system, coordinating with outside vendors via Quantum, and supporting maintenance actions with accurate forms.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Powerplant License or A&P.
• 2 years’ experience on CF6 engines.
• Computer skills: MS Outlook, Word & Excel.
• Ability to read OEM manuals and technical data.
• Working knowledge of the Quantum Operating System.
• Must be coachable and maintain a good attitude.
• Ability to work safely with regulatory requirements and respirators.
• Able to work flexible hours and shifts; subject to FAA testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform Receiving Inspection of incoming engines and document discrepancies.
• Perform Incoming & Outgoing Inventory Inspection of LRUs.
• Conduct EMU and/or piece part inspections and document non-conformances.
• Record status on QC 227C and route parts to restore serviceability.
• Route parts to outside vendors and document data in Quantum.
• Oversee maintenance actions and document data on maintenance forms.
