Job summary

The Stanford Humanities Center invites applications for a CESTA Programs Manager. Based on the Stanford campus, this exempt, three-year, fixed-term, benefits-eligible position will support the Center’s programmatic activities and coordinate CESTA labs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience, strong planning and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a higher education setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree may be required for some programs.
• Experience managing a budget and developing financial plans.
• Knowledge of digital humanities preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and support programmatic activities including Summer Undergraduate Research Program, Faculty Research Projects, weekly seminars, public programs, and DH Research Scholars Graduate Program.
• In collaboration with the Center’s Communications Manager, update and maintain the CESTA website, create announcements, and other communications as needed.
• Be the point of contact for labs hosted at CESTA, advising on space-use policies in consultation with the CESTA Faculty and the Executive Director.
