Job summary

Easterseals Arkansas is seeking a skilled supervisor to manage Direct Support Professionals supporting the CES Waiver in the community. The role ensures compliant service delivery, maintains records, and coordinates annual ITP planning with families and Care Coordinators.

The position emphasizes supervision, scheduling, and on-call support, with responsibilities to monitor progress, training, and quality of care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) preferred in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education or related field or a minimum of 2 years equivalent experience with developmental disabilities in a HCBS or DD setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who provide direct care to individuals in the CES Waiver program.
• Manages service delivery by DSPs to all individuals assigned to caseload.
• Remains on-call for after-hours emergencies or crisis intervention for all Waiver individuals on caseload.
• Coordinates staffing schedules for CES Waiver supports and other Medicaid services.
• Calculates costs of all direct care services for each individual CES Waiver treatment plan.
• Submits prior authorization requests for CES Waiver services.
• Coordinates and facilitates annual client-specific training for DSPs.
• Reviews daily service records to evaluate service delivery against ITP goals.
• Keeps case files and electronic health records in compliance with standards.
• Assists with admission of new referrals and enrollment documentation.
• Reviews ITP goals quarterly to determine effectiveness of service delivery.
