Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing in North Carolina is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants for contract roles across Grantsboro, Butner, and Wilson. Travel between healthcare facilities is required as part of the assignment, with direct patient care under supervision by RNs or LPNs.

Eligible candidates should have CNA certification, be at least 18, meet state requirements, and be able to obtain CPR and health certificates where required.

Qualifications

Job description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs directpatient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensedmedical professional.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient careactivities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for thepersonal needs and comforts of patients.

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/staterequirements
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
