Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN in healthcare facilities in New Hampshire. Travel assignments and part-time opportunities may be available to match client needs.

Qualified candidates must hold CNA certification, have at least one year of experience preferred, and maintain current CPR where applicable.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clerical functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.
• Assist with personal needs and comforts of patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

Job description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
