Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under supervision in healthcare facilities across Pennsylvania. You will support RNs and LPNs, perform routine tasks, and assist with personal needs and comfort of patients.

The role requires basic nursing knowledge, adherence to professional standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
