Job summary

Aquatech, a global water and process technology provider, seeks a full-time Certified Welding Inspector to join our Houston, TX office. You will inspect vessels, piping, and fabrications, ensure QA/QC documentation, and coordinate with suppliers and project teams.

Travel 30%+ and on-site responsibilities are expected. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in welding quality roles, AWS/CWI certification (preferred), and the ability to read drawings, P&IDs, and meet ASME/AWS codes.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of related experience required.
• CWI certification preferred.
• NDE and Auditor Certifications are a plus.
• Experience inspecting piping, pressure vessels, and structural fabrications to mentioned codes.
• Ability to review WPS/PQRs, NDE reports, and material certificates.

Responsibilities

• Track and ensure closure of all non-conformities.
• Submit project quality documentation (EOMR, etc.) to customers.
• Review contract documents and project specs to meet customer requirements.
• Inspect pressure vessels, piping, and structural fabrications to applicable codes.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal project teams daily.
