Job summary

NOVA Engineering is seeking a Full-Time Certified Welding Inspector for our Charlotte, NC office. You will perform structural building inspections and QA/QC tests across masonry, reinforced concrete, and structural steel projects, ensuring compliance with codes and project requirements.

The role requires current AWS CWI certification; ICC certifications in masonry/steel/concrete are a plus. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

Current AWS CWI is required.
ICC certifications in Structural Masonry, Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections in accordance with code and project requirements.
Interpret project plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met.
Carry out field testing and inspections at work sites.
Review plans and specifications and inspect accordingly.
Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others.
Input results and observations into daily reports.
