KTA is recruiting full-time and part-time Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) in the PA/NJ/NY area. All applicants must be willing to travel and work multiple shifts.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED - required
• Current AWS CWI - required
• Bridge fabrication inspection experience - preferred
• ICC Bolting and/or ICC Structural Steel - desirable

Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet navigation

Physical Requirements:

• Good vision (including color, distance, depth) and ability to focus
• Ability to travel extensively and work outdoors occasionally (including in bad weather)
• Climbing, bending, crawling, working in confined spaces and on uneven terrain
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs

Drug testing, criminal background, and motor vehicle checks will be conducted.

Salary Range: $30-42/hour with comprehensive benefits. The hourly rate depends on experience and certifications.
