Job summary

Image Associates Inc. in Dyersburg, TN is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) for a fully on-site role. You will perform on-site testing and inspection of fabricated steel assemblies, read and interpret drawings, and maintain daily inspection records.

Four 10-hour days per week with day/night shifts available; relocation assistance offered. AWS CWI certification with at least three years’ experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must have AWS CWI certification with at least three years of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints.
• Experience with Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Visual, and Ultrasonic inspection (NDI) preferred.

Manufacturing company that makes fabricated steel products needs Certified Welding Inspectors, also called CWI. This is a completely on-site position. The company provides wonderful benefits. You would work a four-day work week, 10 hours a day. Day and night positions are available. $35-40 per hour.This job is in Dyersburg, TN. Relocation assistance is available.You will be responsible for onsite testing and inspection of fabricated steel assemblies designed to support heavy loads.Read and interpret fabrication drawings.Constant floor inspection and documentation of all manufacturing processes including Cutting, punching, shearing stamping, notching, welding and paint.The welding process is a GMAW Spray Transfer process.All necessary testing and personal protection equipment will be provided by the companyMaintain daily inspection recordsShould be experienced in inspection and test of structures and welds.Experience with Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Visual, and Ultrasonic inspection (NDI) preferred.RequirementsAWS CWI Certification. Certified Welding Inspector with at least three years’ experience. This is a position in manufacturing, but will consider people with construction, civil engineering, defense, marine, or aerospace experience.Must be able to identify components having cracks, corrosion, faulty welds, or other defects that would affect structural integrity.Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings or blueprints.
