SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) for an on-site role in the manufacturing of fabricated steel products. The position offers a four-day work week (10 hours per day) with day and night shifts and relocation assistance to Dyersburg, TN or Florence, SC.

You will inspect, test, and document welding and fabrication processes to ensure structural integrity. Qualifications include AWS CWI certification and 3+ years’ inspection experience, with ability to read drawings

Competenze

AWS CWI Certification and at least three years’ experience in inspection.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints.
Proficiency with MS Office and ability to produce reports in desired formats.

Mansioni

Onsite testing and inspection of fabricated steel assemblies for heavy-load support.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings.
Conduct constant floor inspection and document all manufacturing processes (cutting, punching, shearing, stamping, notching, welding, painting).
Oversee GMAW spray transfer welding process.
Provide and use PPE; maintain daily inspection records.
Must have experience inspecting structures and welds; ND I preferred.
