Job summary

You will maintain safety practices, document work orders and inspections, and collaborate with supervisors to meet deadlines. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a union

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read production drawings, blueprints and work orders.
• Alloy and steel welding experience.
• Strong safety awareness and documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, welding process specifications, production drawings, and work orders.
• Operate MIG and TIG welding equipment, plasma cutter, and related tools.
• Perform oxy acetylene cutting when needed and fabricate metal components.
• Maintain safe work practices and follow standard operating procedures.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure parts meet drawing specifications.
• Prepare input for management reports and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet production goals and timelines.
