Job summary

RFC LLC - DBA Roll Forming Corporation in Shelbyville, KY is seeking an experienced Welder and Certified Weld Inspector to support aerospace production by inspecting laser-welded titanium parts.

The role requires visual inspection skills and the ability to train and certify in NDT methods such as Liquid Penetrant, Ultrasonic, and Digital Radiography, with readiness to obtain additional certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in visual inspection to assure conformance with customer specifications.
• Ability to train and certify in Nondestructive Testing (NDT) techniques (e.g., LP, Ultrasonic, Digital Radiography).

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of welded products, components, and assemblies to ensure conformance to specs.
• Train and certify in NDT methods including Liquid Penetrant, Ultrasonic, and Digital Radiography inspections.
• Mark laser-welding work with Certified Weld Inspector stamp per BAC 5686 and inspect butt/seam welds; support laser welding of Titanium.

Salary Range: $26.00 To $39.85 Annually

We’re seeking an experienced welder and certified weld inspector to support our Aerospace operations team by inspecting laser-welded titanium parts as part of our production process. Strong candidates will be detail-oriented, experienced working within a production team and willing to certify for other NDT methods.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Uses visual inspection to test and/or accept welded products, components, materials and assemblies to assure conformance with applicable customer specifications and requirements. Ability to train and certify in Nondestructive testing (NDT) to include Liquid Penetrant Inspection, Ultrasonic Inspection, and Digital Radiography Inspection.
