Job summary

DeSHAZO, LLC is seeking an experienced Level II NDT Inspector to perform non-destructive testing of welds, fabricated components, and manufactured products to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and quality requirements.

You will conduct Level II inspections using VT, MT, PT, and UT, interpret results, document records, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Welding, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Current ASNT-TC-1A Level II certification in one or more applicable NDT methods.
• Minimum 2 years of NDT experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Working knowledge of AWS, ASME, and ASTM standards.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret test results according to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current ASNT-TC-1A Level II certification in one or more applicable NDT methods.
• Minimum 2 years of NDT experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments.
• Experience inspecting welds, structural steel, and fabricated components.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Working knowledge of applicable AWS, ASME, and ASTM standards.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in heavy manufacturing, crane manufacturing, or structural steel fabrication.
• Multiple NDT certifications (VT, MT, PT, UT).
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1 welding requirements.
• Experience supporting corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and access large fabricated components.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with appropriate PPE.

Work Environment

Manufacturing and fabrication environment with exposure to welding operations, heavy equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
