Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Water/Wastewater Operator in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin to operate and maintain the city’s water treatment plant and wastewater system. You will monitor processes, collect samples, and ensure regulatory compliance to deliver safe water and reliable service.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma/GED, 1–2 years in municipal water treatment, and state certification or the ability to obtain it. Veolia provides training and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in municipal water treatment preferred.
• Must hold a current Wisconsin Water Treatment Operator's license/certification or obtain within a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain water and wastewater treatment facilities and associated equipment.
• Collect samples for process control and regulatory reporting.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and housekeeping tasks.
• Respond to field issues and coordinate with customers/regulators as needed.
