Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Licensed Water Treatment Plant Operator - O&M Tech II to operate and maintain the City of Sturgeon Bay water and wastewater systems. The role involves daily operations to meet permit limits and ensure safe, efficient plant performance.

Responsibilities include sampling for process control, preventive maintenance, and field support. Requires a high school diploma and water operator certification with 1–2 years municipal experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in municipal water treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, inspect and maintain equipment and processes at the wastewater treatment plant and water system.
• Perform preventive maintenance, housekeeping tasks, and inspections.
• Collect samples for process control and compliance monitoring.
• Perform process control sample analyses per procedures.
• Respond to customer field inquiries concerning water issues.
• Conduct facility inspections and report problems affecting safety or operations.
