Personna Employment Solutions in Pasco, Washington (On-Site) seeks Certified Wastewater Plant Operators (Levels 2–4) to support the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of a modern municipal wastewater treatment facility serving a growing community.

As part of the team, you will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, troubleshoot equipment, collect data, and participate in process improvements while maintaining safety and reliability.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • 1 year wastewater plant operations experience with process control responsibilities.
  • 2 years wastewater plant operations experience with process control responsibilities.
  • WA State Level 2 Wastewater Certification or OIT 3 Certification required.
  • WA State Level 3 Wastewater Certification or OIT 4 Certification required.
  • WA State Level 4 Wastewater Certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
  • Troubleshoot pumps, motors, valves, controls, instrumentation, and treatment systems.
  • Collect operational data and maintain accurate logs, reports, and records.
  • Monitor process performance and make operational adjustments as needed.
  • Respond to alarms, operational issues, and emergency situations.
  • Support regulatory compliance and permit requirements.
  • Assist with facility maintenance, process improvements, and operational optimization initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures and protocols.

The Opportunity

As a Wastewater Plant Operator, you will play a critical role in operating, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing wastewater treatment processes while ensuring compliance with state and federal environmental regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

Required

  • Washington State Level 3 Wastewater Certification or OIT 4 Certification.
  • Minimum two (2) years of wastewater treatment plant operations experience with process control responsibilities.
  • Washington State Level 4 Wastewater Certification.
  • Minimum two (2) years of wastewater treatment plant operations experience with process control responsibilities.
