Veterinary Technician – Surgery

At AERC, our Surgery team is focused on supporting high-quality surgical care, serving the community, and having fun! If you enjoy procedures, patient care, and being part of a collaborative, fast-moving team, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with surgical procedures and patient preparation
• Support surgeons and the surgical team during procedures
• Assist the Anesthesia team with cases
• Provide attentive pre- and post-operative patient care
• Maintain sterile technique and surgical suite readiness
• Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth, safe workflows

Essential Physical Functions:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs independently; assist with larger patients
• Safely handle and restrain animals of varying sizes and temperaments
• Bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift
• Use fine motor skills for technical tasks and instrument handling
• Work in a fast-paced environment with noise, odors, and PPE

Qualifications
