Lakeview Animal Clinic is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a collaborative team focused on high-quality patient care. The role includes anesthesia, surgery support, dentistry, lab work, and client education within a supportive hospital environment.

Qualified candidates are licensed veterinary technicians with strong communication skills, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and a commitment to compassionate care for both pets and their owners.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician required (state license/registrations).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; assist with heavier lifts with assistance.
• Proficiency in basic math for dosage calculations; strong communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in exams, treatments and surgeries.
• Take histories, vital signs and weigh patients; provide client education.
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor during procedures.
• Collect samples and perform in-house lab tests; prepare specimens for outside labs.
• Take, develop and maintain radiographs following safety procedures.
• Provide patient handling and restraint as needed; administer meds and vaccines.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and equipment; restock supplies.
• Demonstrate warmth and professionalism to clients and patients.
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians and team members.
