Job Responsibilities

  1. Assisting our team of Veterinarians during examinations, ensuring appropriate restraint for safe and effective procedures.
  2. Preparing and administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the Veterinarian.
  3. Monitoring and caring for anesthetic patients.
  4. Obtaining radiographs with proper positioning and techniques.
  5. Performing laboratory tests on blood, urine, and feces.
  6. Maintaining a clean working environment for all team members.
  7. Collaborating with Veterinarians to ensure continuous patient care.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle and control aggressive animals.
  • Capacity to handle the physical and emotional aspects of veterinary work, including end-of-life care.
  • Professional and courteous demeanor with staff and clients.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and growth.
  • Strong active listening, critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, judgment, and decision-making skills.
