We’re looking for a
Full-Time Veterinary Technician to join our growing team in a fast-paced, team-focused urgent care environment.
As a Veterinary Technician at UrgentVet, you’ll play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients and their families. You’ll assist veterinarians with exams and procedures, manage diagnostic testing, maintain accurate medical records, and help ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations.
Ideal Candidate
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Perform technical tasks including venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, lab sample collection, and in-house diagnostics
- Monitor anesthesia and recovery in surgical patients (where applicable)
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment
- Support patient flow and ensure timely care is delivered
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise
- At least 1 year of clinical veterinary experience preferred
- Licensed or credentialed technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) a plus, but not required
- Proficiency in standard technical skills (e.g., blood draws, IV catheter placement, lab work, x-rays)
- Compassionate, calm, and team-oriented attitude
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and client service
