Woodmoor Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate, skilled, and dependable Veterinary Technician to join our team in Monument, Colorado.

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an essential role in providing excellent medical care to our patients. Responsibilities may include:
Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures
Obtaining patient histories and monitoring vital signs
Collecting and processing laboratory samples
Administering medications and vaccines as directed
Preparing patients for surgery and assisting with anesthesia monitoring
Performing venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, and other technical procedures
Maintaining accurate medical records
Educating and communicating with clients about patient care
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment
Supporting the veterinary team wherever needed
We’re seeking someone who is:
Compassionate and genuinely committed to animal welfare
Experienced as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant with strong technical skills
Comfortable handling dogs and cats in a clinical environment
Detail-oriented and able to stay organized in a busy hospital
A strong communicator with excellent client-service skills
Dependable, professional, and a positive team player
Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with veterinarians and fellow team members
CVT/LVT credentials are a plus, but we’re also interested in experienced veterinary assistants who are motivated to grow their technical skills and career.
