Qualifications

2+ years of small animal clinical experience preferred, new graduates welcome to apply.
Safe and effective patient handling and restraint.
Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines.
Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines.
Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring, induction, and recovery.
Dental experience preferred.
Ability to accurately triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories.
Solid technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory procedures.
A collaborative, team-first mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed.
Commitment to continued learning, growth, and professional development.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Comfort working on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments.
Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab procedures.
Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures.
Take and process radiographs.
Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
Provide nursing care and patient monitoring.
Educate clients on preventive care and post-operative instructions.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital.

Role: Certified Veterinary Technician
Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience and credentials
Schedule: 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday, 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm, one 5-hour Saturday shift per month
