Job summary

Landisville Animal Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our veterinary team in Landisville, PA. You will deliver compassionate nursing care and support veterinarians during procedures in a collaborative, patient‑focused environment.

We welcome both experienced CVTs and new graduates. This role requires positive teamwork, strong communication with clients, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed. Lift requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Currently PA-credentialed CVT or eligible for licensure.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Strong technical nursing and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and client education skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, collaborative team player.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Lift up to 50 pounds with assistance when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to canine and feline patients.
• Obtain histories and perform physical assessments.
• Safely restrain patients with Fear Free approach when possible.
• Collect lab samples and perform in-house diagnostics.
• Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia.
• Assist veterinarians during surgery and dental procedures.
• Capture diagnostic radiographs.
• Educate clients on preventive care and home care.

Here is What Your day May Consist of:

• Place intravenous catheters and perform venipuncture
• Administer medications and treatments as directed

• Capture high-quality diagnostic radiographs
• Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and home care
• Collaborate with teammates to provide outstanding patient care and an exceptional client experience
