Landisville Animal Hospital in Landisville, PA is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join a collaborative team. You will provide patient-focused nursing care, take histories, and assist veterinarians during procedures while maintaining Fear Free handling and high-quality diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong technical nursing and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and client education skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to canine and feline patients.
• Obtain patient histories and perform physical assessments.
• Safely handle and restrain patients with a Fear Free approach whenever possible.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics.
• Place intravenous catheters and perform venipuncture.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia.
• Assist veterinarians during surgical and dental procedures.
• Capture high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
• Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and home care.
• Collaborate with teammates to provide outstanding patient care and an exceptional client experience
