Job summary

Landisville Animal Hospital in Landisville, PA is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team. You will provide nursing care to canine and feline patients, assist veterinarians, and educate clients on preventive care.

We welcome both experienced CVTs and new graduates and offer a supportive environment with growth opportunities, CE allowances, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and client service.

Qualifications

• Current PA CVT credential or licensure eligibility.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Strong nursing and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and client education skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to canine and feline patients.
• Obtain patient histories and perform physical assessments.
• Safely restrain patients with Fear Free approach when possible.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics.
• Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia.
• Assist veterinarians during surgical and dental procedures.
• Capture high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
• Educate clients on preventive care and home care.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure outstanding patient care.

As an integral member of our medical team, you'll have the opportunity to:
