RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist at Monmouth Medical Center in Tinton Falls, NJ. You will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient comfort and clear communication throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Sonography.
• ARDMS certification required.
• Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/ Health Care Provider through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepares & sends specimens to labs in the absence of the secretary.
• Prepares exam rooms before patient enters & cleans room following patient's exit.
• Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures by assisting them onto the table & instructing them in the procedure that is being performed.
• Selects & records appropriate images for the permanent records.
• The sonographer is competent in the production & analysis of ultrasound images used by physicians for patient diagnosis & treatment.
• Exercising discretion & judgement in the performance of sonographic services to deliver quality patient care.
